Fashion legend Dapper Dan gained his notoriety as a tailor in Harlem in the 80s and 90s when he made custom designer-label-inspired clothing for athletes, rappers and culture-makers.

In 2018, in a partnership brokered by Steve Stoute, Gucci tapped the designer to create a custom capsule line for their global stores as well as invested in The Dapper Dan Atelier - a invitation only tailor shop exclusively filled with Gucci fabrics and accessories, own and run by Dan and his son.

To celebrate the partnership and atelier opening, Stoute hosted a 24 guest dinner at Eleven Madison Park, known as one of the 50 best restaurants in the world. Guests included Nas, Colin Kapernick, Naomi Campbell, Gucci's global executive team, Quavo of Migos and Daniel Humm, the head chef of the restaurant who had curated a menu especially for the evening.

As the Executive Producer, Katie collaborated with the Eleven Madison Park staff for a seamless execution of the menu and themes of the evening, coordinated guest list, guest arrival, and gifting, and worked closely with the Gucci events and PR team to ensure their brand was integrated and represented.

The event was featured the following day in Vanity Fair.
