Delta, an official sponsor of The Grammys hosts an annual kick-off event to the celebrated week featuring a live performance and cocktails for their top sales executives, partners, influencers and celebrities. For the 2016 event, they wanted to highlight the authentic experience that connects Delta and The Grammys expressing the tagline: All the places music takes you, Delta does too.  The result was Sights & Sounds. A newly created music platform that features Grammy nominated artists telling personal stories tied to specific moments in time and places they've traveled that is reflected in their music.

As the Talent Curator/Talent Buyer Katie was tasked with projecting up and coming artists for review, and filtering them through a lens that matched up with the ideals and and concept Delta wanted to execute. Once she presented and selected Leon Bridges as the talent, she then joined the creative team to act as a liaison between them, and Leon's management to ensure stories were carefully crafted, matched the visuals that would be displayed, and this unique performance was executed smoothly and comfortably for both the artist and the brand.

Katie's predictions were successful, Leon Bridges took home his first Grammy the night after the performance and appeared in a Square Space commercial a month later.
